**About The Role**

HammondCare regards this role as key in the delivery of relationship-based care which seeks to understand and value every individual as a whole person.

Reporting to the Pastoral Care Manager you will utilise and share your pastoral expertise, coaching staff, and volunteers to support the emotional and spiritual needs and goals of clients, their families, and staff.

**_ This is a permanent part-time role based at Braeside Hospital which offers service for rehabilitation, palliative care and older persons mental health. _**

**_The role is 2 days per week (15.2 hours) with an option of additional day(s) at Greenwich Hospital._**

**About you**
- Strong understanding the challenges facing adults needing in-hospital rehabilitation, with particular experience of the spiritual care of older people living with mental health issues.
- Experience in supporting patients in a palliative care setting highly desirable.
- Strong personal and active Christian faith and church involvement
- Theological /Pastoral Care qualifications and experience
- Demonstrated capacity to pastorally care for and enhance the wellbeing of those in need
- Highly developed communication skills including listening, compassion and empathy
- Strong administrative and computer skills
