The Planning and Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing the production planning and Inventory functions to support supply chain operations. This includes conducting Sales & Operations planning process, production planning, demand planning, inventory planning, supply planning and KPI reporting.
- Manage the PPC team which includes production planners and buyers as required. This includes developing individual expectation to support organizational goals and driving the team to achieve planned expectations.
- Execute monthly Sales & Operations planning activities and demand planning for relevant business units. Translate of information provided by sales team to an accurate forecast (based on Donaldson standards) to drive purchasing and manufacturing. Continuously looks for opportunities to improve the S & Ops process.
- Manage the production planning of the DAPL manufacturing plant in terms of short, intermediate and long term planning perspectives. Analyze capacity issues to and report to management in order to maintain a smooth operation and ensure capacity is available as needed. Organize weekly/monthly capacity planning meetings to keep the operation team informed.
- Conduct weekly/monthly master purchasing planning activities to maintain purchasing in line with the demand.
- Implement and maintain inventory management practices to maintain appropriate inventory levels in DAPL warehouse.
- Drive the SLOBs project and coordinate activities to achieve organizational goals.
- Provide reports and analysis of Supply Chain performance as required.
- Report daily/weekly/monthly KPIs.
- Drive Oracle related improvements in DAPL supply chain.
- Participate and support in the local Implementation of Global Supply Chain Initiatives
- Works with Customers as needed to report on Supply Performance, Forecasting and Issues
