**SEEKING ROSTERING OFFICER**

**The role**

In the capacity of Rostering Officer, you will be a responsible for all rostering functions including the maintenance and development of rosters, workforce utilisation and planning, reporting, and updating timesheets and attendance records.

**Key responsibilities for this role**
- Develop rosters to achieve efficiency and maximise the use of resources.
- Utilise workforce to cover shift shortfalls.
- Roster staff to attend training.
- Provide advice and support to internal customers, supervisors and employees throughout the workforce planning and utilisation process, ensuring accurate information is provided to stakeholders.
- Produce accurate and informative reports from time and attendance, payroll, and operational reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and regulations.

**Essential Selection Criteria**
- Experience in the use of rostering systems; knowledge of Brevity would be advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to solve problems and identify processes to improve systems.
- Strong planning and organisation skills with good attention to detail
- Understanding of industrial relations, awards, and agreements and how they impact on rosters.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and high level of resilience.
- 2 or more years previous experience of rostering, scheduling, or labour hire, preferably in the Communities Services sector, specifically Disability.
- Strong attention to detail skills with a focus on ensuring accurate preparation of documentation.
- Ability to always exercise discretion/confidentiality and sensitive information appropriately.
- High level software competency including the MS Office Suite and preferably Brevity systems experience.
- Current National Police Clearance

**To be considered for this role you must**:
Hold a valid and current Victorian driving licence.

Hold a current police check and working with children’s check.

Right to work in Australia with no restriction on hours

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
