**About the role**

We are currently seeking an Operations Support Officer to join our team at the Depot to assist in delivering the Town's operation service. As an Operations Support Officer, you will be responsible:

- Ensuring that all stores and equipment are effectively managed, replenished and administered in a timely manner to facilitate operational requirements.
- Managing contractors’ induction.
- Arranging and accepting deliveries at the Depot.
- You will also undertake routine inspections and audits of Town assets as required, reporting on concerns and taking corrective actions.
- Responsible for ensuring that procurement processes are followed for all depot purchases and support the Managers and other Technical Services Staff in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date documentation, policy and procedures.

**Skills & Experience**

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications/experience:

- Previous experience or qualification in administration.
- Good understanding of the operation and maintenance needs of fleet, heavy plant and equipment
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
