**Welcome to Bardon State School**:
Our small, happy school (283 students in 2023) is set in beautiful grounds with pleasant buildings, on the slopes of Mount Coot-tha. A major office refurbishment was completed this year. The aim of our school is to ensure that every student is challenged to achieve their potential. **Your role**:
As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing corporate services and administrative support to the Principal. You will work within well-defined guidelines to provide advice and offer solutions to key stakeholders (external and internal) on business related problems (e.g. human resources, finance and facilities management), and have responsibility for autonomously delivering on priorities, seeking expert advice, adapting processes, problem solving and providing solutions according to clear outcomes, with regular guidance and collaboration with the Principal.

**Knowledge and experience**:
This role requires excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and the ability to work as a key member of the leadership team to support the delivery of the school's strategic plan. The following would also be advantageous:

- Practical experience in administration, financial processes, human resource practices and facilities management included knowledge and experience of planning, directing, resource allocation and workforce management.
- Experience in leading others to deliver results and manage change.
- Experience in a school setting and knowledge of Department of Education policies, processes and procedures.
