**The Role**
Defence Finance Group (DFG) leads financial operations, management and performance across Defence, delivering financial, strategy, management and business partnering services.

You will be a part of a team of professionals delivering accurate, timely and high-quality financial analysis and advice. As an APS 5 Financial Analyst or APS 6 Financial Advisor in Air Force Finance Branch you will operate within a dynamic, blended environment and be working in support of Defence Capability Management, Acquisition and Sustainment.

**About our Team**
FP&M Division delivers financial advice and performance reporting to Groups and Services, Ministers and other government departments, across all Defence programs and activities including workforce, capital, and sustainment and operating budgets. Air Force Finance Branch delivers this support principally to the Air Force and Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group.

As an APS 5 Financial Officer or APS 6 Financial Advisor in the FP&M division you will combine your passion for finance with your passion for stakeholder management. You will have an ability analyse and interpret financial information such as budgets and management reporting and enjoy working with others to understand complex issues, analysing results and an ability to communicate your findings. As an APS 5 Financial Officer or APS 6 Financial Advisor you will assist DFG’s clients by undertaking a range of financial analysis tasks and activities.

To be successful in these roles you will possess and able to maintain a positive “can-do” attitude along with the ability to demonstrate accuracy and a high level of attention to detail. You will be well organised and have a willingness to learn, have an excellent work ethic and strong financial data analysis skills.
