**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Lived Experience Principal Worker within the Mental Health Division.

The Principal Lived Experience Worker has responsibility for providing leadership and governance to the Lived Experience Workforce (LEW) across NALHN Mental Health Division (MHD), including recruitment, training and development, professional supervision and developing processes to support safety and quality.

The Principal Lived Experience Worker works in alignment with the NALHN MHD Strategy and in collaboration with key stakeholders, will lead and develop the involvement and profile of clients and carers within the planning, development and delivery of services. The position will develop relationships with leaders and clinicians in all parts of the service to integrate client and carer involvement.

The incumbent will provide and represent client and carer perspectives in senior committees and on a range of projects and service developments. They will work collaboratively with other Local Health Networks (LHNs), Office of the Chief Psychiatrist (OCP) and non-government organisations (NGOs) to improve understanding of personal recovery and build capacity to provide recovery-oriented mental health services.
