**About the Role**
Our Shift Operator - Kewdale assists in managing and controlling the safe and efficient running of the terminal.

Day to day you can expect to work with contractors to ensure HSSE and terminal operating rules and regulations are being followed, monitor and maintain site integrity through the identification of hazards/risks and implement controls, and be accountable for pipeline and tankship product receipting.

There is also some administration, reporting, and scheduling involved as part of the role, including maintaining policies & procedures and updating work instructions.

**About You**
Being a go-getter with a strong team-playing attitude is essential, as is a willingness to learn new things, great time management skills and solid organisational skills. An eye for continuous improvement is a big plus, as well having a understanding of various MS software programs.

A flexible degree of availability is important too given the operational needs of our terminals span across all days of the week, so being able to work a shift roster is essential. On any given week you can expect to work a pattern of daytime and nighttime hours, with stretches of time off between shifts to catch up on R&R.

If you have previous experience in working in high-risk environments this is a big bonus, as safety is always our number one priority.
