**What you will contribute to**

As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of all fleet/equipment maintenance within the branch and responsible for the daily supervision of the vehicles and employees involved in the workshop.
- Ensuring all workshop/equipment staff/contractors are only undertaking activities on those Company vehicles/equipment for which they hold a current and appropriately endorsed drivers licence
- Control expenditure on maintenance and running costs
- Manage the workshop and equipment functions through internal resources and outsourced subcontractors
- Work with the national Fleet & Equipment manager on the development of medium to long term fleet plans
- Ensure all OHS&E, compliance, and legislative requirements are met
- Assisting Management in the development and management of capital and expense budgets and forecasts
- Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed

**Your skills and experience**
- Proven experience in supervising equipment workshops advantageous
- Experience in leading large teams
- Knowledge of Western Australia Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (WAHVA)
- Strong track record in safety leadership and performance
- Demonstrated ability to work within budgetary guidelines
- Proven experience within the waste or transport industry is preferred
- Background in heavy vehicle maintenance
- Good interpersonal skills
- Mechanical qualifications (HV Mechanics required)
