Come and join the team An exciting opportunity exists for an **Administration Officer **to join the **Clerical Casual Pool** for the **Southern Illawarra and Northern Illawarra Hospital Groups.**

**What you'll be doing**

The Casual Administration Officer is required to relieve in numerous administration positions throughout the hospital. These positions may include: Ward Clerk, Outpatient Clerk and general clerical or secretarial positions within various departments. The position requires a great deal of flexibility in the work undertaken and covers a variety of positions.

**COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance**

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

**Selection Criteria**:

- A broad range of clerical experience. Recent experience in a variety of clerical positions is essential.
- Ability to type at speed (min 40 words per minute) with accuracy and evidence of such. (Evidence to support same must be produced by applicant.)
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated high standard of organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and achieve deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally with members of the public and staff with a courteous and strong responsive customer focused service and an appreciation of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated experience in providing and maintaining excellent customer service.
