**About the role**

As an Inbound Planning Specialist at Coles Group, you will oversee the inbound operations of our Customer Fulfilment Centres, ensuring efficient carrier deliveries and compliance across the network. Your role involves managing supplier and carrier relationships to secure timely deliveries and vehicle turnaround, while also enforcing regulatory adherence for food transportation.

You will forecast inbound demand issues and collaborate with stakeholders for resolution, escalate supplier performance breaches, and support remediation strategies. Additionally, you'll coordinate with logistics and business units to optimize inbound volume during peak periods. Using data insights and industry knowledge, you will identify trends, resolve non-conformances, and hold suppliers and carriers accountable to uphold high standards of performance.

**About you and your skills**
- Logistics experience (5+ years) in retail, FMCG, manufacturing.
- Experience in influencing others without direct authority.
- Ability to manage fast-paced, decision making environment and the ability to resolve problems and conflict within it.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements concerning vehicle safety and chain of responsibility.
- Intermediate analytics capability to carry out analysis and run reports.

**You'll also have**
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline.
- Broad Supply Chain knowledge in Retail/FMCG.
- Strong business acumen / commercial skills.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
