**About the opportunity**:
We are looking for a Part-Time Dental Assistant for a beautiful inner city, purpose-built practice which is just seven years old. Great location, wonderful team environment and a fabulous opportunity for someone who wants to expand their dental career.

This position calls for someone with exceptional communication skills and an optimum level of customer service. Previous dental industry experience is desired, but we are looking for someone with the right attitude, maturity, and motivation to build this practice.

Willsmere Dental is a purpose-built, modern family dental practice supporting five dentists and a part-time Hygiene/Therapy department. We are expanding and looking for an experienced superstar to join our team.

The role is a part-time position - 3-4 days a week (days and hours are negotiable); and Saturday’s monthly (8:30am-1:30pm - please note: Saturdays are not negotiable). The position is not limited to chair-side assisting and will involve cleaning and sterilisation, stock control, billing and front-desk support when required.

Your role will be responsible for:

- Welcoming patients into the treatment room
- Chair-side assisting and sterilisation
- Surgical Room preparation
- Stock Control
- Overview and coordination of all clinical procedures/systems
- A high level of communication skills both written and verbal (must be fluent in English).
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including empathy, compassion, and care.
- Excellent work-ethic with a self-driven, highly motivated attitude.
- A passion for patient care with the ability to build rapport and nurture relationships quickly.
- An ability to multi-task and work well within a team.

**Skills and experience**:

- Previous clinical experience in a busy dental environment
- Minimum 1-year dental background is preferred
