Pre-delivery Traineeship

Apprenticeships R Us is looking for a **Trainee in Pre-Delivery **to join the Automotive Industry in the **Pennant Hills, NSW **area

In this traineeship you will be completing a **Certificate II in Automotive Underbody** while working in the Pre-Delivery department of a Dealership.

**You will you do as a Pre-Delivery Trainee?**
- Inspect vehicles for obvious damage and missing major components.
- Inspect vehicles for loose or misaligned items such as trim, doors, and hardware.
- Record discrepancies and signs or otherwise acknowledges an acceptance slip for each vehicle delivered.
- Perform repairs and replace defective items
- Ensure the warranty repairs are properly documented and charged.
- Start engine and drive the vehicle to test steering, brakes, transmission, and engine operation.
- Activate power equipment such as electric windows, seats, radio, horn, lights and directional signals to ensure specified operating standards.
- Inspect surfaces to detect minor chips and scratches in paint. Touches up imperfections using brush applicator and factory-supplied matching paint.
- Install optional equipment specified by the customer or dealer.
- Install standard components.
- Washe and polish exterior of vehicles.
- Clean and vacuum interior of vehicles.
