Your new company Our client is one of the largest essential service providers in Australia and New Zealand providing a comprehensive range of operational maintenance, design, construction, remediation and assess and facilities management services to their clients and customers across a wide range of sectors. These sectors include resources, telecommunications, transport, energy, water, health and industrial. Our well-known client based in the Latrobe Valley is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the team on a 12-month full time fixed contract, with the opportunity for ongoing employment.

Your new role
- Ensure weekly payroll for wages is completed accurately and on time including uploading hours to SAP and Maximo
- Reconciliation of Payroll hours to Maximo & SAP
- Maintenance of onsite databases
- Respond to any employee pay queries and maintain personnel files
- Consistent and accurate interpretation of EBA
- Monitoring employee leave entitlements
- Provide support to employees in relation to Redundancy and Long Service leave
- Management of Alliance Sub contractor hours, PR/PO’s and invoicing
- Raise workorders, purchase requisitions and receipt invoices

What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven ability to manage payroll & interpret enterprise agreements
- Demonstrated ability to provide administrative support
- Good computer skills including Word, Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills to a range of people
- Experience in computer-based systems i.e. SAP would be of an advantage
