Kitchen Hand

Excellent full-time or permanent part-time opportunity to join the team at Milkwood Bakery, we are looking for an energetic, dedicated and experienced Kitchen Hand with a desire to work on the beautiful NSW South Coast in our Artisan Bakery.

You will need a great work ethic, positive attitude and a passion for beautiful food, willingness to be an integral part of the team.

Your duties will include:

- Responsible for the daily shut down procedures of the bakery.
- Regular Driving stock between our production kitchen and retail bakery in a business provided vehicle.
- Kitchen cleaning & maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Baking of pies and sausage rolls.
- Setting and maintaining standards of end of day hygiene, cleaning, and procedures.
- Working together with members of a growing kitchen team.
- Contributing to the efficient and seamless operation of our Artisan Bakery
- WH&S compliant with strict food hygiene practices.
- Award Wages (Restaurant Industry Award).

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience in a similar environment (3 years minimum)
- Proven attention to detail, organisation & excellent communication
- Physically fit.
- Own transport required and Drivers Licence at minimum P2
- Ability & willingness to work various shifts.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 - 32 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All surfaces regularly cleaned and sanitised.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Berry, NSW 2535: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen Hand: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (min P2) (required)
