Our Dargues Mine is a gold mining and milling operation located in the south-eastern NSW tablelands, approximately 60 kilometres (km) south-east of Canberra. The facility includes an underground mine, processing plant and associated surface facilities.

**The Role**

We are seeking a **Trainee ( **Graduate) Mine **Surveyor **to contribute to meeting budget production targets through the timely provision of survey data to support mine production and development activities.

This role will be based at site on our Dargues mine site. Flexible FIFO (from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide) or DIDO or residential (preferred) options available. Flexible roster options 7/7 for DIDO/FIFO or for a residential roster 5/2; 4/3.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Delivery of timely and accurate Survey Memo’s to support mine development activities
- Review of Mine Plan Approval (MPA) documents to ensure data is accurate and in a format that supports management of survey data
- Conduct Drone surveys of surface stockpiles and deliver data to Mining Operations team
- Conduct CMS scans of stope voids and provide timely and accurate data to support mine production decision making
- Conduct mark ups for production drill sites, raisebore sites and diamond drill sites as required to support Mine Operations team
- Conduct regular pickups of mine development and provide timely and accurate data to Mining Operations team and Technical Services team to support planning activities.

**About You**

If you have Tertiary Qualification in Surveying or Equivalent or you are working towards a degree We are looking to hear from you.

Applicants with no practical experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants with a history of Vocational work in a survey discipline will be highly regarded as will applicants with exposure to the below dot points:

- Exposure to Mine Survey equipment (CMS equipment, Leica total stations, Surface drones etc.
- Capable user of MS Office suite of programs
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
