They are looking for a threatened species adviser who can ensure protection, management and enhancement of environmental assets.

**Your new role**

You are responsible for providing high level advice to internal and external stakeholders on environmental and natural area matters. Additionally, you will interpret and analyse relevant legislation, polices, strategies, plans, research and reports.

Additional Accountabilities:

- Develop and implement strategic options for the planning, specification and delivery of cost-effective, natural environment management projects.
- Provide high-level specialist advice, recommendations and reports on environmental, natural management and planning issues.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You have tertiary qualification in environmental management or related field. Furthermore, you have technical knowledge and understanding of matters relevant to environmental and natural area management, including pest management, biodiversity, environmental offsets, vegetation and landscape management.

Additional accountabilities:

- You have a strong understanding of environmental and natural area management legislation, policy, plans, research and reports.
- Demonstrated project management skills that focus on leading, participating and effectively working with multidisciplinary teams
