The role of the central performance reporting team is to manage and support effective performance reporting in DVA in line with the Commonwealth Performance Framework.

**Duties**
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of performance reporting during the year including;
- Periodic performance reporting to the Executive and Committees (tri-annually).
- The preparation of the Annual Performance Statements (APS).
- Collection of content for the Annual Performance Statements from across the department, and ensuring individual performance measures and the reporting suite as a whole, complies with relevant legislation, rules and guidelines.
- Undertake quality assurance testing of documentation, methodology, and reported results, and providing advice on the appropriateness of performance measures to ensure continual improvement.
- Primary liaison point between DVA and the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) on all matters related to the Annual Performance Statement Audits.
- Coordinate ANAO requests, facilitate walkthroughs, providing committee updates on the status of the audit, and liaising with business areas on audit trends.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to provide education and support on the performance framework and its components.
- Engage and consult with internal and/or external stakeholders and build strong working relationships, including with SES, divisional coordinators and executive officers.
- Draft papers and briefs for executive and audit committees.
