The portfolio of External Engagement is responsible for connecting the University with core stakeholders including philanthropists, alumni, government, volunteers, the media, and the broader community. It is made up of six collaborative and high performing teams: Strategic Communications, Development, Centre for Ideas, News and Content, External Engagement and Operations.

The Web Operations and Transformation team has been established to transform and operationally support web efforts, ensuring management of existing sites remain stable and updated whilst identifying opportunities to enhance our offering.

The Junior Production Traffic Assistant is responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the Web Operations and Transformation team. This is a key role in ensuring that web production tasks are prioritized and assigned appropriately and work closely with team members to resolve any issues that arise.

The Junior Production Traffic Assistant reports to the Production Traffic Manager and has no direct reports.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the triage and prioritization of web production tasks, ensuring that tasks are assigned to the appropriate team members and that deadlines are met.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers, to gather information about web production tasks and ensure that all necessary resources are available.
- Monitor, track and document the progress of web production tasks, and escalate any issues that arise to the appropriate team members.
- Respond to inquiries from team members and stakeholders regarding web production tasks, providing updates and information as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of web production tasks, including task descriptions, deadlines, financials, and status updates.
- Support the continuous improvement of web production processes and ensure they are followed consistently and that best practices are adhered to.
- Support the continuous improvement of web production processes, suggesting and implementing improvements as needed.

**Skills and Experience**
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training and/or experience.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a web production or project coordination role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks.
