About the role

Reporting to Manager Corporate Relations, you will be responsible for implementing PBPL's internal and external communications strategies and producing engaging content and collateral that supports the achievement of business objectives.

**Your duties will include, but not be limited to**:
Create, manage, and communicate engaging content for internal and external audiences, utilising intranet, website, monthly newsletters, social media, presentations, and publications;
Utilise your excellent writing and content creation skills to chase down stories and campaigns;
Support the delivery of the People and Performance Team with internal communications including newsletters and webinars, change management communications, events, and campaigns;
Support the Corporate Relations team with developing and implementing communication plans for key areas including annual Sustainability reporting, community relations, events, sponsorships and digital;
Assist with the planning and implementation of internal and external communication and engagement elements of PBPL's strategic projects and major initiatives such as the Sustainability Program;
Coordinate visual assets such as photography, video, infographics, or other storytelling tools to create compelling internal and external communication materials;
Support the People and Performance Team with developing and implementing communication plans for employer branding to support talent acquisition; and

Support media activity through preparing media releases, coordinating media events or drafting responses to enquiries.

About the person

To be successful in this role you will be a highly skilled writer who enjoys using your craft across a number of channels.

**You will also have**:
Experience working in a communications team for a complex organization where you have assisted with internal and external communication channels;
A strong ability to produce, write and edit high-quality content, including the ability to understand and distil technical information into more accessible and user-friendly communications;
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to network and build relationships internally and externally;
The ability and drive to engage with all areas of the business to identify content opportunities and support their communication needs;
Ability to clearly and concisely manage consultants and designers to deliver high quality outcomes on all collateral, from a content and brand perspective; and

Skills in videography, photography or graphic design is highly regarded but not essential.
