- Support the delivery of Biosecurity Operations Branch program plans, process improvement and partnership initiatives including Securing our Border, Registered Quarantine Place, travellers, and mail pathways. **Hours per fortnight**:
73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

**Duties**:
Support the delivery of Biosecurity Operations Branch program plans, process improvement and partnership initiatives including Securing our Border, Registered Quarantine Place, travelers, and mail pathways. Lead small projects or portfolios to develop organisational capacity in specific areas.

**Essential Requirements**:

- The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.

The following checks are to be conducted:

- Conviction check in the following conviction areas:

- Crimes of violence
- Serious drug offences
- Crimes involving dishonesty
- Serious traffic offences
- Any other offences under the _Biosecurity Act 2019_, or related legislation
- Satisfactory security clearance as required by port authorities.
- Current unrestricted motor vehicle driver’s licence.

**Desirable Requirements**:
A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Biosecurity, Biology, Horticultural or Agricultural Science, Government (Investigations) or Government (Statutory Compliance), or Biosecurity Emergency Management relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by either a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider_._
