**About the Dermatology Unit**

The Department of Dermatology provides adult and paediatric services through Outpatient Clinics at Monash Medical Centre and Dandenong Hospital, and referral services to all sites. The unit is staffed with 20 consultants (1.3 EFT), 2 registrars, 1 intern and 2 nurses.

The Dermatology Unit at Monash Health is the only major health service in Victoria treating both children and adults for skin, hair and nail disease. Specialist services include a Paediatric Eczema Clinic, Biologics Clinic, Patch Testing Clinic and a combined Genetics/Dermatology Clinic (4 times a year). The Unit conducts clinical trials research and supports the teaching of medical students.

**About the Role**

To work in the Outpatient Department at Monash Medical Centre as a Consultant Dermatologist (Visiting Medical Officer), in the provision of high quality services consistent with the Monash Health values.
- Provide clinical leadership through active involvement in patient care.
- Assist medical colleagues, including junior medical staff, in the management of patients in the clinic.
- Be available for on-call duties as required.
- Support academic, research and education efforts within the unit and particpate in the training and supervision of undergraduate students and postgraduate trainees.
- Contribute to ongoing service improvement and clinical and workforce innovation to ensure Monash Health provides hight quality accessible Dermatology services.

**What you need**:

- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Working with Children's Certificate
