**About the Role**:
This position is suited to an energetic and future-focused instructional leader. You will have deep curriculum, pedagogy and assessment knowledge and the ability to collaborate with teachers and school leaders in their implementation of high quality teaching practice.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead the department in developing quality learning outcomes for all students, by committing to a shared educational vision
- Promote a culture of inquiry and innovation, where creative exploration and independent learning are valued
- Set high standards for student and staff performance
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups
- Be futures oriented and strategic

Highly desirable skills and experience;
- Demonstrated teaching competence and capacity to provide curriculum leadership leading to the achievement of quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop and sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community.
- Capacity to use analytical skills to contribute to educational outcomes at the school level.
- Demonstrated support for and the capacity to develop and maintain an organisational culture based on ethical professional and personal behaviours and corporate values.
