**Your new role**

Are you a passionate and experienced communications leader who can drive the Fund’s retention and acquisition strategies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Marketing Communications Manager.

In this role, you will lead a team of Communication Consultants in developing and executing engaging and effective communications content across various channels and programs. You will oversee the execution of the Fund’s Education, Member Engagement, Digital Acquisition, Investment Communications, and Brand Communications initiatives.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all communications are aligned with the Fund’s values and objectives, compliant, and delivered on budget. You will coach and mentor your team, foster a culture of excellence and innovation, and contribute to cross-Fund projects. To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong communication skills, be a creative & strategic thinker, have leadership experience, and a proven track record of delivering results in a similar role.
- Please note this is an initial 14-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover).

**Some key responsibilities but not limited to;**
- Oversee the development of the Fund’s Education program, delivering content that helps members make the most of their super - from presentations to videos and end-to-end promotional communications.
- Oversee the strategy and delivery of the Annual Digital Creative Roadmap, in addition to the Podcast, & Owned channels execution.
- Support the Senior Manager in the annual planning process.
- Lead, motivate and inspire the team of Communication Consultants to ensure the annual communications plan is delivered.
- Coach and encourage professional development and training for the team.
- Drive an excellence-oriented culture with accompanying KPIs, within the team and with suppliers and partners. Contribute both functional expertise and broader leadership and business management ideas, skills, and experience as part of cross-Fund initiatives.

**What you’ll need**
- 10+ years’ experience in a marketing or communications role.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and/or Business Management is required.
- Demonstrated people leadership skills (direct, cross-functional or project).
- Well-developed written and oral communication/ interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, perspectives and issues.
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to deliver programs on-time, to budget to drive simple and engaging communications.
- Well-developed ability in converting technical concepts into plain language.
- Strategic, creative thinking, planning and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated stakeholder relationship skills, including ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships with peers with the objective of gaining cooperation and meeting deadlines.
- Extensive experience project managing and developing a wide variety of end-to-end communications, including the writing, sign-off management, design management, production and distribution of communications across multiple channels for different audiences.
- Attention to detail and pride in performance. Experience in either superannuation, insurance and financial services is desirable
