**About the Role**:
We are seeking a skilled APS5 Complaints Officer to join our team. As a Complaints Officer, you will play a significant role in managing and resolving complaints from various stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include assessing, recording, and addressing participant incidents while ensuring adherence to service standards and timelines.

Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Managing complaints and participant incidents, including assessment, resolution, and follow-up.
- Ensuring timely and effective communication with complainants and their representatives, displaying empathy and resilience in challenging situations.
- Preparing high-quality written correspondence for different audiences, including formal responses to Ministerial inquiries.
- Coordinating correspondence, briefing, and reporting functions for the Complaints Team.
- Assisting the Complaints Team in resolving operational issues and contributing to strategic objectives.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, demonstrated through your effective management of complaints and incidents.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to handle challenging and emotive calls with professionalism and empathy.
- Ability to produce high-quality written correspondence for various stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex enquiries.
- Previous experience in complaints management and resolving escalated issues is highly advantageous.
