**The Team**

We have Market leading products, and a strong product pipeline are hallmarks of this exciting and innovative business area. The Advanced Surgery division at Baxter is actively pursuing acquisitions and investing heavily to broaden its portfolio.

This territory has a strong history of achieving its targets and experienced sales professionals will be able to continue to maximise opportunity.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

This is stand-alone role which will manage our successful Advanced Surgery Melbourne and South Western VIC portfolio. You will work with key surgeons, providing them with a broad range of hemostats and sealants that assist in optimal patient outcomes.

Within theatre, you will establish relationships with key target surgeons in a wide variety of speciality surgery to support the effective use of Baxter's Advanced Surgery products and drive growth. You will also work closely with nursing staff within the operating theatre to ensure up to date knowledge of products is available. Effective and accurate communication with customers is vital to the success in this role.
- Establish relationships and networks with all levels of clinical and management staff
- Represent the features and benefits of the Advanced Surgery products new and existing customers
- Identify incremental business opportunities and develop strategies to grow the portfolio
- Provide market information to maintain a sound understanding of the marketplace
- Facilitate product presentations to induce product usage in key specialties
- Collaborate with Baxter Sales Management within the regions sales force, Group Marketing Manager and Surgical Care Manager to achieve gross profit and revenue growth
- Prepare new business forecasts for the Surgical Care management
- Liaise with Customer Service Team to ensure an efficient ordering process and enhance customer’s satisfaction
- Feedback market trend information to Surgical Care Business Manager

**Do you have what it takes to build a career here?**

The ideal background will include experience in Neuro spine / Cardiothoracic / General Surgery in Medical devices sales or alternatively Pharmaceutical sales. You will have proven experience in the operating theatre environment and demonstrated success in driving sales within a highly competitive market. Previous clinical experience in addition to your sales success will be advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in the field of nursing, allied health, science or technology (eg. Health Science, Bioscience, Science or similar)
- Technical and / or clinical experience
- Territory Sales / Account Management experience in Medical devices sales
- Experience in a relevant therapeutic area - Intensive Care (technician, nurse, intensive care or similar)
- Well-developed presentation and communication skills
- Proven relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction
- Current drivers’ licence
- Ability to work autonomously with a drive and determination to succeed
