Family Connect is an early intervention service providing timely information and advice, appropriate warm referrals and practical assistance to children, young people and families. The ability to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the service and to build positive connections and work collaboratively with key stakeholders are essential to the position.

The role will include completing intake assessments, case coordination and/or case management and linking families into support services while having a child safety lens about your work.

Your role within our dedicated Family Connect program, will allow you to:

- Utilise your strong engagement skills to bring families and young people, support services and community resources together so that children and young people are safe and well
- Provide high quality, strengths based and person-centred intake, assessment, and interventions within a case management framework
- Be innovative and solution focused in your approach to supporting families
- Work within a highly skilled, supportive, and motivated team.
- a deep understanding of the challenges that face families, children and young people face
- the ability to achieve positive outcomes for families within a fast-paced environment.
- knowledge of local support services and referral pathways
- experience of working with a child safety lens
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, education, psychology, social work, early childhood, social welfare or similar.
