Join a new high profile agency in Canberra to lead a small corporate procurement team.

**Your new role**

Join a new high profile agency in the Canberra City to lead a small corporate procurement team in setting up a procurement function and supporting internal stakeholders in all procurements including advice on panels, preparing documentation and managing complex matters.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven capabilities perform at EL1 level in the procurement space within the Commonwealth environment.
- Maintaining consistency and compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Frameworks.
- Managing and maintaining the annual procurement plan and being responsible for quality assurance.
- Ensuring the agency meeting Commonwealth Procurement Framework requirements.
- Proactive engagement with internal stakeholders on procurement topics and providing support on internal procurement policies.
- Building procurement and contracting capability across the agency.
- Contributing to continuous improvement such as ongoing development and maintenance of systems, and procurement/contracting processes and tools.
- Managing competing deadlines to achieve results and deliver high quality outcomes.
- Experience using TechOne is highly desirable.

**What you'll get in return**
