**About the Role/Duties**:
You'll be responsible for overseeing and guiding scrum teams, ensuring that development and testing teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices. You'll be responsible for mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, and facilitate meetings and decision-making processes, whilst eliminating team impediments.

You'll have a firm grasp of agile practices and the ability to effectively manage and mentor development teams. You'll also have excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills.

**You'll**:
Facilitate a collaborative environment to deliver value using Agile philosophy;
Facilitate effective team ceremonies and work well with teams spread over multiple locations;
Manage dependencies between teams;
Ensure any impediments to the team are removed;
Use metrics effectively to motivate teams to continuously increase its performance;
Act as a safeguard for the team from external interference and over commitment;
Enable technical excellence, DevSecOps, team effectiveness and architecture;
Foster an environment that promotes psychological safety, continuous improvement, and effective risk management;
Coach individuals and team to high performance and be self-organising;
Looks for ways to add value beyond customers' immediate requests and acts on them; and

Engender trust and demonstrate commitment to the team to support and enhance strong team dynamics.

Skills & Experience

Within the context of the role described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key experience/capabilities:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Scrum Master role;
Strong experience and track record of success in an agile environment delivering complex initiatives with interdependencies across multiple projects and domains, working with multiple agile delivery teams;
Exposure to a financial services organisation would be highly advantageous however not essential;
Strong experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders;
A growth mindset with a collaborative style and a strong willingness to learn and grow in your career; and

Above all else, you will have a humble, kind, friendly and trustworthy personality, with an excellent attitude and approach to work.
