Junior Automation Tester

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Junior Automation Tester to join our Quality Assurance Team.

This permanent, full-time role will see you responsible for the development of a robust automation framework, identification and execution of test scenarios.

This is a **Brisbane-based **role. To be considered, you must be eligible to work legally in Australia on a full-time basis.

**What You’ll Do**
- Prepare and review reusable functions. Improve robustness, reusability, and maintainability of test scripts
- Acknowledge development timelines and strive to achieve milestones
- Continually review work practices and recommend ways in which practices, systems, and/or processes can be improved
- Follow and promote Agile practices like SCRUM, BDD, Shift Left and Continuous Integration with Jenkins
- Participate in activities that address improving performance and actively promote improvement.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ of QA experience and 1 year (min.) of hands-on Automation experience
- Strong JavaScript knowledge
- Good to have API testing technologies essential (e.g. Postman, Swagger, SoapUI)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in an integrated team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good to have experience using Cypress or other automated testing tools
- Good to have working knowledge with Docker containers is beneficial but not mandatory.
