About the role

**The Product Owner is critical to making this happen and will**:

- lead and inspire a multidisciplinary and evolving team ('Squad') to achieve our mission to have the world’s best credit platform that makes ANZ the easiest bank for institutional customers to deal with and help employees work more effectively
- prioritise deliverables, milestones and own the roadmap for your stream, with stakeholders at the heart of your decision making. Your plans will need to balance out ideal solutions with rapid delivery of business value and benefits
- have full accountability and responsibility for module or component within the overall program. You will ensure that the solution design and architecture for your product is sound, strategic, and fit for purpose, collaborating with technology and other partners along the journey
- transform the business process and deliver value through sound technical implementation combined with strong change management and engagement with the business

expertise to drive delivery of scope in your squad, managing milestones and deliverables within agreed timeframes

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

- A can-do attitude and willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves’ with the team to get delivery across the line in a fast-paced environment, flexing consistently between your SME capabilities and squad priorities that require swarming. You’ll need to multi-task consistently and be highly adaptable to change and ambiguity
- Extensive working experience in or with Institutional Banking and particularly in credit risk or research and analysis, including deep knowledge of the domain products and services
- Project management and delivery experience with a working understanding of Agile methodology
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops, presentations, identifying business needs, involving multiple stakeholders with independent objectives at a sufficient level to derive high level solution options
- Strong leadership, elicitation, and collaboration skills in order to influence outcomes and manage expectations
- Strong analytical & problem-solving ability with excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to competently switch between various contexts and learn new information quickly
- Proficiency with collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Teams etc.)
