Casual / Part Time Receptionist required for approximately 15 to 30 hours per week.

Many people who attend Stonewall do so because it is a safe space where reception staff, practitioners and patients are all treated respectfully, with dignity and without prejudice.

Stonewall has undergone significant growth in the last few years and this is expected to continue.

The Practice is made up of 6 General Practitioners, 2 Sexual Health Physicians, 4 allied health clinicians, Nurse, Practice Manager and 4 administrative staff. We are a close knit yet dynamic team where everyone is supported in their role.

**The Role**:

- Delivering amazing customer service.
- Answering phone calls, making patient appointments and greeting patients.
- Claiming / invoicing / billing for Medicare, DVA, Workcover & private accounts.
- Completing daily reception duties.
- Process medical records, such as faxing, scanning and filing
- Prepare documents for distribution and collection
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained (including Reception area, waiting rooms, Consult Rooms, Bathrooms and Kitchens)
- Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically
- Liaise with patients and their families in a compassionate manner
- Liaise with GPs, other health professionals in a professional manner
- Perform specific duties as required by doctors
- Ensure consulting rooms are stocked and remained neat and tidy throughout the day
- Maintain practice dress standards
- Other administrative duties as deemed necessary for the running of the practice as directed by the Practice Manager
- Escalate issues or matters outside position requirements to the Practice Manager
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in a medical Practice
- Proficient computer skills
- Prior experience with Medical Director, Pracsoft or Best Practice software or similar
- Experience with billing Medicare, DVA, WorkCover & private accounts.
- Ability to multi task, prioritise and be organised, think independently, perform under pressure with a strong attention to detail
- Punctuality and Flexibility in working hours as this is a causal position.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Excellent customer service skills and effective interpersonal skills
- Honest, reliable and a strong team player
- Able to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 16 - 30 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Windsor, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
