Our Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Operation of directional drills, vacuum excavation units and excavators- Set up of job sites in accordance with established safety and environmental requirements- Interpreting BYDA plans and locating underground assets before works commence- Completing JSEAs and Pre-Start forms- Maintenance of site vehicles and plant to ensure they are kept clean and in safe working order- Reporting day to day productivity and issues through to engineers and supervisors

How you will connect to the role:
- HR drivers licence (manual preferred)- Experience operating Vermeer drill rigs 10x15, 20x22, 23x30, and up to 60,000lbs- Experienced in using Digi Track locating systems (F5 Falcon +)- A good understanding of drill fluid requirements for different ground conditions- Experience in reaming / opening holes in various ground conditions- Excavator, Traffic Management, First Aid (incl. CPR) and ‘Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services’ tickets/qualifications are highly desirable- Ambitious and driven personality- Alignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & Leadership
