Kitchen Hand

El Jannah, an established restaurant located in Roselands, NSW, is seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our team. As a Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist in food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meat
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning food preparation areas, and disposing of trash
- Assist chefs and cooks with various tasks as needed
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations
- Restock food and supplies as needed
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
