Account Manger

**The role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a full time Account Manager based in Prestons. Reporting to the Sales Manager you will have the vital function of maximising sales opportunities within the local NSW market. This will be achieved through the development of strong customer relationships, with both existing and new customers, and by offering practical solutions that ensure high customer satisfaction.

This role will require you to be hands on and to deal with all levels within a customer's organisation. Although you will interact with an existing customer base, one of the responsibilities of this role will be to generate new business and cold calling is required. Occasional early starts will be required.

**Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain good relationships with your customer base, meeting with customers regularly
- Identify potential new business opportunities by cold calling and following up leads
- Assist with the preparation of quotes
- Liaise with customers regarding allocation & scheduling
- Meet set sales targets and KPI's and provide regular updates to the Sales Manager

**What you will need to succeed**
- Passion for customer service and sales, with ambition to succeed in such roles
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Outstanding relationship management, listening and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and confidence cold calling potential customers
- Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
