CNC Laser Operator

Our client, a large engineering company in **Hallam** has an immediate requirement for an experienced CNC Laser Operator

The role:
Produce laser cut parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) laser. Achieve optimum efficiency and productivity with minimum wastage of time, materials and consumables.

To be successful in obtaining this position, you will;
- **1+ years’ experience with Laser Machines**:

- **Read basic engineering drawings and be able to work from these**:

- **Follow detailed work instructions**:

- **Overhead crane usage**:

- **Forklift license**:

- **Able to do some overtime during the week and some Saturdays**

Duties and responsibilities include;
- **Using hand and power tools**:

- **Monitoring the CNC Laser during continuous production**:

- **Have the capability and dexterity to operate other machinery**:

- **Visually monitor parts to ensure quality accuracy**:

- **Document control during production**:

- **Packaging laser cut parts**:

- **Meet production goals**:

- **Good communication skills**:

- **Team player**
