An opportunity has become available for a **Counter Merchandise Salesperson** to be involved in a growing, fast paced business.

**About the role**:
Total Rural Supplies is a well-respected, privately owned Rural Merchandise Business which is expanding rapidly and requires a full-time Merchandise Salesperson to incorporate into our team. Focussing on client and product management and customer service, the successful applicant will need to be committed to providing a high level of customer satisfaction while performing many duties such as loading and unloading trucks, ordering products and inventory management.

**Key function of the role**:

- To provide a high level of customer service.
- Assist in the supply of product to the customer.
- Stock management which includes restocking of product on display, reordering and investigating stock discrepancies.
- To identify leads and opportunities.
- To help maintain store cleanliness.
- Loading and unloading product.
- Answering the phone.
- Unpacking orders,

**Key personal attributes**:
We are looking for people that have the passion and commitment for business and good communicators with effective interpersonal skills. You must be adaptable to change with a keen interest in agricultural production. Due to the nature of the products that we deal in you will be required to be load, unload and pack product away so you will need to be physically fit and comfortable with manual labour. You will need to be energetic and dedicated and willing to help to grow the business. Any experience in the agricultural industry will be looked at favorably.

It is a requirement that we dispatch and receive product accurately so good attention to detail will be a requirement.

There is an opportunity to move into a Sales / Key Account Management role if it is established that you are capable.

**Renumeration**:

A remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant once experience is established.

Current driver licence is essential, whilst not vital a forklift licence will be required in time.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
