Disability Support Worker

**The Opportunity**:
Come and join our team We are seeking a **Community Disability Support Worker** located in **Bendigo**. You will be responsible for support a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:

- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
- ** Pet Care** - Assisting client to provide food & water to their cat

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Induvial Support
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Drivers Licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
- Complex care experience - PEG feeding, hoists & slide sheets

**What shifts are we offering?**

We are currently offering the below shifts, we require a minimum of 3 full days of availbility.
- ** Monday **8.00am - 3.00pm
- ** Tuesday**: 8.00am - 12.00pm OR 8.00am - 3.00pm
- ** Wednesday**: 9.00am - 11.00am OR 8.00am - 3.00pm
- ** Thursday**: 9.30am - 12.30am OR 8.00am - 3.00pm
- ** Friday**: 8.00am - 3.00pm
- ** Saturday **(Week 2 only): 8.00am - 12.00pm
- ** Sunday **(Week 2 only): 8.00am - 12.00pm
