**The Opportunity**
As a Merchandise Planner with e&s, you'll be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, collaborating with key stakeholders to establish monthly sales forecasts for top-selling SKUs and ensuring alignment with promotional activations and business objectives. You will drive efficiency in inventory management processes by managing and developing forecasting procedures, while also supporting the growth of purchasing team members to enhance routine admin tasks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

**A Merchandise Planner, with us, involves**:

- Collaborate with Category, Planning, and Head of Merchandise to establish monthly sales forecasts for key selling SKUs.
- Ensure category teams provide details on promotional activations for accurate forecasting.
- Coordinate with product planning to ensure inventory orders align with business forecasts.
- Develop and manage inventory forecasting processes for the business, driving efficiency and accuracy.
- Support the development of purchasing team members to enhance efficiency in routine admin tasks.
- Assist the Head of Merchandise in creating and managing reports or budgets as required.
- Collaborate with Category, Marketing, Planning, Purchasing, and Retail teams to review and improve inventory-related processes between departments.
- Manage forecasts in line with budgets and expectations set by the CFO.

**Here’s what we’re looking for**:

- Proven experience in merchandise planning, buying, inventory management, or a related role within the retail industry (retail industry preferable not essential)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working with suppliers to manage forecasting and inventory processes.
- Proven track record of driving process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
