Reporting to the Manager City Presentation, the Head of Facilities & Infrastructure will operate a customer-focused and collaborative way, to efficiently deliver Council facilities maintenance, infrastructure, cleansing programs and asset permitting services. Leading a multidisciplinary team, this role will oversee strategic programs and services in order to manage our growing asset base, alongside the renewal of aging infrastructure. As a Growth Council with a significant service delivery landscape, this role is pivotal in providing sound technical advice and strategic direction, to proactively contribute to the growth and development of the municipality whilst fostering a culture of high performance and innovation.

To be successful in this critical role, you will a substantial depth and range of technical management experience at a management level in a complex organisation, with exposure to Public sector preferred. You bring strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate technical concepts in a simple, concise and engaging way. With expertise in civil infrastructure management, you bring a contemporary leadership style with a proven ability to establish and lead high performing teams to deliver organisational change and innovative service improvements.
