**About the role**
- To the provision of high-quality lifestyle activities for residents.
- To participate in the planning and delivery of activities for residents in the facility.
- Responsibilities and Duties_
- To plan and implement activities programs through assessment and consultation and ensure that it continues to meet the identified needs of the residents.
- Carry out duties according to the daily schedule with purposeful activities.
- Supervise volunteers assisting in the program when necessary.
- Liaise and networking with all appropriate community or church groups to facilitate community or religious activities for residents.
- Provide inputs and feedback to Facility Manager about suggested changes to meet residents’ needs.
- Complete documentation as appropriate.
- Be able to communicate effectively with residents, their carers/representative, colleagues and volunteers.

**Qualifications and Skills**
**_About the Successful Applicant_**
**Essential**:

- Holds a Certificate IV in Leisure and lifestyle.
- Minimum 1-year experience in aged care as RAO or demonstrated experience in running activities for older people.
- National Police Clearance.
- Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency.
- Evidence of a good team building, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to write simple report in either Chinese or English.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in residential aged care.
- Experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse populations.
- Understanding of, and/or experience in the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Current driving license.

Part-time hours: 15 - 38 per week
