Analyst Programmer

**Job description**

Career Path One Pty Ltd has an opportunity for an Analyst Programmer who will be working with a group of programmers on our major projects, and help perform analysis and programming duties in the development.

**About the role**:
**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test and modify computer systems, programs and integrations
- Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user's needs
- Assist/Supervise Junior Programmers during their project training and initial work within the technical consulting team
- Evaluate and test new or modified software programs
- Confirm program operation by conducting tests
- Respond to IT-related issues and provides support where necessary
- Install troubleshoot systems

**The applicant must have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience as an Analyst Programmer or a similar role
- Experience with network protocols, computer hardware, and software
- Ability to plan and direct complex technical projects
- Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in the area of expertise

**Preferred skills**:

- UNIX Skills (Basic commands and basic Shell Scripting)
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Web services and IIS
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities

$60,000 - $80,000
