**About the role**:
The Music Technician position provides technical and logístical support to the relevant areas of the Music department. This support includes:

- Establish and maintain a current stock inventory for all course materials.
- Assist in the hiring, setup and operation of equipment for classes and student activities.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in a state of readiness for use by employees and students, including session set up and close down.
- Support the teaching and business support employees in their roles through the provision of technical assistance.

**Your Skills and Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**:

- Relevant technical qualification to AQF level 4 or higher, or relevant experience in providing technical support to music programs

Expertise Requirements
- Logistics and Maintenance: Demonstrated experience in warehousing, equipment and facility maintenance, particularly in an education setting.
- Technical Support: Demonstrated ability to support the set-up, conduct and close down of teaching sessions. Ensure currency of skills in relevant OHS matters consistent of an artsTechnician.
- Assets and Stock: Demonstrated ability to provide regular and comprehensive asset and stock control and reporting, including equipment maintenance reporting.
