As part of our Family Support Services in Ringwood, EACH is looking for an Access to Early Learning (AEL) Facilitator to increase participation in kindergarten by children experiencing vulnerability.

The Access to Early Learning (AEL) role aims to increase participation in kindergarten by children experiencing vulnerability. It is primarily an outreach service, a visiting each family weekly, building relationships with parents that encourage effective in-home learning and a child’s enrolment and sustained engagement in kindergarten.

The AEL facilitator also fosters important connection and collaboration between the family, the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) service, educators, and other services.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team with other counselors, caseworkers and support workers and manage a caseload of 8 families where there is a 3 yo eligible for three year old kindergarten.

Your days will consist of outreach to these families, building relationship with the parents that encourage effective in home learning and foster connection and a sustained relationship with other family supports, the kindergarten and the educators.

**Who you’ll be working with**
Working with other professionals within a variety of disciplines, including Maternal Child Health Nurses, Kindergarten staff, support workers and counsellors. Our team is dedicated to giving clients the best possible support.

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for a facilitator with a tertiary qualification in Social Work (or equivalent) and/or early childhood education and development and/or at least 5 years’ experience in the delivery of support services to families and children, preferably in a multidisciplinary environment, you might be exactly the person we're looking for

Mandatory Requirements
- A current Working With Children’s Check is essential
- Have full Australian working rights and a National Police Clearance
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Current AHPRA or Equivalent Professional Registration
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work (or equivalent)
