Aps5 - Visits Coordinator

**The Role**
On behalf of the Senior ADF Officer (SADFO) and the Air Base Executive Officer (ABXO) you will coordinate visits of all kinds from working level visits to base tours to VIP and Ministerial Visits. Some of the key duties of the role include:

- Plan, coordinate, facilitate and execute visits of all levels.
- Engage with base support agencies to organise accommodation, meals, base access and appropriate security and escorts.
- Liaise with base units for varying levels of involvement in visits.
- Liaise with civilian agencies and organisations that may wish to conduct base visits.
- Liaise with foreign military and agencies for visits from O/S VIPs and dignitaries.
- Prepare reports for SADFO and ABXO detailing upcoming events and visits.
- Prepare post activity reports.

**About our Team**
24SQN is the Airbase Operational Support squadron for RAAF Base Edinburgh.
You will be working with the Air Base Command Post team whose core functions are Air Base Operational Support, Emergency Management and Visits Coordination. It is a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
- Have experience working within an Australian Defence Force Base Command Post or Estate and Infrastructure Group Defence Support Role.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work effectively in a team environment whilst displaying leadership and management qualities in managing personnel and discrete visits.
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to manage multiple stakeholders to facilitate base visits.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management, as well as attention to detail in maintaining oversight and coordinating a high volume of activities.
