**The opportunity**:
Every year we collect, receive and sort nearly 2 million tonnes of paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, steel and aluminium from Australian and New Zealand households, businesses, and schools, recovering the greatest amount of material we can at our MRFs and sorting facilities.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an outcome-focused and continuous improvement-driven, Site Supervisor to join our Visy Recycling Site in Kerbside.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Site Manager, this is a full-time permanent role where you will support, manage, and further develop the new operating site. Liaise with State and Site leaders/Managers, Visy Recycling for a collaborated effort to achieve the best value.
- Maintaining a sustainable HSE culture, empowering employees, driving optimum performance and product quality,
- Establishing relationships with internal and external customers and ensuring an entire site is a great place in which to work,
- Acting as a coach and mentor to assist people in making key decisions to ensure the best outcomes for the company.
- Assisting management in dealing with employee relations issues as they arise to achieve a satisfactory outcome for all involved.
- Operational responsibilities include employees and contractors, efficiency and compliance with all Visy Recycling policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring systems and processes are in place to protect the WHS of each employee and ensure relevant sites are compliant with all WHS legislation.
- KPI compliance - Set Safety targets, NCR Targets, and AVAs - Continually monitor performance indicators
- Ensure staffing levels are in line with budget expectations

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Experience in process manufacturing and operations
- Min. two years’ experience leading and developing a team
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to clearly identify, describe and communicate the scope of work and desired outcomes to others
- Highly motivated with good attention to detail
- Driven - Results orientated
