**About the Scholarship**
As part of Swinburne’s exciting Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2) project, one scholarship is available for an enthusiastic student to undertake a Masters degree with the research project **'Public perception of hydrogen'** as part of a broader multidisciplinary research team.

Led by Swinburne University of Technology, working in partnership with CSIRO and Germany’s ARENA 2036, VH2 is bringing together researchers, industry partners and business. Testing, trialling and demonstrating new and emerging hydrogen technologies, the Victorian Hydrogen Hub is supporting sustainable manufacturing practices and the ability to store clean energy from renewable sources, striving to create a sustainable future for all.

A specific focus of this Masters is on exploring methods of effectively communicating information about hydrogen to the general public. In particular, the project focuses on using experimental social psychology to test the effectiveness of different communication strategies. The project will provide insights into how to most effectively shift public opinion around hydrogen energy.

**About you**
To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative statistics and experimental research methodologies
- Good team-working, observational and communication skills

**Qualifications**
An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Psychology); Honours or Masters degree (for possible PhD Pathway)
