**The Role**

The City Presentation Department plays a key role in maintaining streetscape amenity and shaping liveable neighbourhoods. As a member of the urban works team, the Sign Writer position will

undertake high quality signage design, production, installation, and maintenance activities utilising all sign writing techniques (traditional and modern) with a focus and use of digital and computer-based design, printing, and production.

**About you**
Ideally you will have experience in the maintenance of council roadside assets, including but not limited to roadside signage, directional and informational signage, street furniture, maintenance painting, cleansing, and operation of relevant plant and equipment. You will also have a strong understanding with Occupational Health and Safety requirements, vehicle/equipment maintenance responsibilities, have good oral communication skills and a proven ability to work under mínimal supervision in a team environment. Experience in the use of computers and technical devices would be advantageous. Current MR licence and Traffic Management certificate are favourable.
