**About the Role**

**Responsibilities include**:

- lead the design and drafting of projects from concept to as built drawings within quality, cost, and time

frames;
- manage drafting resources and scheduling to ensure that the project design milestones are met;
- check drawings for accuracy, completeness and adherence to drafting and design standards before issue for

approval or for construction;
- measuring equipment and plant on site;
- design set out of new and modified plant;
- prepare technical drawings and plans for new and existing plant;
- provide drafting expertise in the design, fabrication, installation and assembly of the project;
- ensure that drawing registers are maintained, and systems are optimised;
- locate drawings for maintenance and operating personnel; and
- reviewing Vendor plant equipment and potential new installations drawings.
- advanced AutoCAD skills;
- advanced site measurement skills;
- experienced in designing and drafting of mining and process plant equipment and piping;
- proficient with GPS location equipment and document control systems;
- highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
- ability to check drawings;
- minimum 10 years relevant experience.
- ability to work with design staff and project managers to ensure full compliance with document control

systems in both electronic and physical filing processes; and
- high standard of presentation.
