**About the role**
As a Child and Adolescent Mental Health RMO, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides assessment and treatment for young people with mental health issues. You will report to the Consultant Psychiatrist and work closely with other medical, nursing, and allied health staff. You will also participate in the MHJHADS Afterhours roster, which includes evening, on call and weekend shifts.
**Duties**
- Conduct mental health assessments and formulate diagnoses
- Provide evidence-based interventions and monitor outcomes
- Liaise with families, carers, and other service providers
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Attend regular supervision and education sessions
**Skills & experience**
- Current registration as a medical practitioner in Australia
- Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry or general psychiatry
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
